⭐ FRANCESCA MILLS TO LEAD LONDON REVIVAL OF THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE ⭐
A new London revival of THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE has been announced.
This major new production of Jim Cartwright’s modern classic has been announced for the National Theatre, coming this winter.
The hardest voice to find is your own. Alone in the sanctuary of her small bedroom, Little Voice fills the air with pitch‑perfect renditions of her deceased dad’s prized record collection of the great divas, from Judy Garland to Billie Holiday. But when her mother Mari’s latest fling, local wheeler dealer Ray, hears her sing he’s certain he’s struck gold. Will Little Voice be pushed into a spotlight she never asked for?
Starring Francesca Mills (Silent Witness) as Little Voice, with further casting to be announced.
The revival will be directed by National Theatre deputy artistic director Robert Hastie (Standing at the Sky’s Edge).
Featuring set & costume design by Janet Bird, lighting design by Paul Pyant, sound design by Mike Walker, composer & musical direction by David Shrubsole, casting direction by Alastair Coomer CDG and voice coach Shereen Ibrahim.
THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE is written by Jim Cartwright.
THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE will play the Dorfman Theatre – National Theatre, London, running from 2nd December 2026 – 23rd January 2027, with tickets on general sale from 21st May 2026.
