Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister will join the UK tour of Sister Act – The Musical, it has been announced.
Fresh from playing the role of Deloris Van Cartier in The English Theatre Frankfurt production of Sister Act, Campbell-Ledgister joins the UK production, starring as Tina/First cover Deloris Van Cartier.
The UK tour currently stars Lesley Joseph as Mother Superior, Sandra Marvin as Deloris Van Cartier, Clive Rowe as Eddie Souther, Lizzie Bea as Sister Mary Robert, Mark Goldthorpe as Curtis Jackson, Catherine Millsom as Sister Mary Patrick, Anne Smith as Sister Mary Lazarus, Graham MacDuff as Monsignor O’Hara, Tricia Deighton as Sister Mary Theresa, Lori Haley Fox as Sister Mary Martin of Tours, Damian Buhagiar as Pablo, Tom Hopcroft as Joey, Bradley Judge as TJ, Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister as Tina, Gabrielle Davina Smith as Michelle, Castell Parker as Clemont, Emma Ralston as Ensemble, Jermaine Woods as Ensemble, Michael Ward as Swing & Dance Captain, Larissa Alexandrovnia as Swing and Chloe Hopcroft as Swing.
The musical is taken from the 1992 film of the same name and tells the story of a singer hidden in a convent for protection after she witnesses a murder.
Sister Act – The Musical features music from eight-time Academy Award-winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, book by Cheri & Bill Steinkellner and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane.
