A new UK tour of Shrek the Musical for 2023 has been revealed.
The triumphant record-breaking Broadway and West End smash hit Shrek the Musical is heading back out to paint the town green in 2023.
Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animated film, Shrek the Musical returns to the stage in a newly imagined production.
Join our unlikely hero Shrek and his newly appointed noble steed Donkey, as they attempt to defy the odds and save the gutsy Princess Fiona to bring her to the meagre Lord Farquaad. A journey filled with treacherous obstacles including a fire breathing dragon, red-hot lava. But as the sun starts to set Princess Fiona’s secret could be revealed.
Joined by some fairy-tale favourites, will Shrek and Donkey be able to complete their quest and reclaim Shrek’s beloved swamp? Filled with fabulous songs, unexpected friendships and surprising romance- this is a show you don’t want to miss.
Shrek The Musical has music by Jeanine Tesori with book and lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire.
