⭐ RUMOUR – ANYTHING GOES – LONDON REVIVAL – FILMED PERFORMANCE PLANNED ⭐
The London revival of the musical Anything Goes will be reportedly be filmed, it has been rumoured.
The critically-acclaimed production is reportedly due to be filmed soon. It is not currently known if this is for a potential cinema/streaming service release.
Though Trafalgar Entertainment who is producing this revival, were responsible for the highly successful cinema release of their previous production of The King and I.
Tony Award-winning actress Sutton Foster reprises her role as the delectable Reno Sweeney with Tony-Award winner Robert Lindsay as Moonface Martin. They are joined by Evening Standard Theatre Award winner Felicity Kendal as Evangeline Harcourt and West End legend Gary Wilmot as Elisha Whitney.
Also starring Samuel Edwards as Billy Crocker, alongside Nicole-Lily Baisden as Hope Harcourt, Carly Mercedes Dyer as Erma and Haydn Oakley as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh.
It’s Bon Voyage on the S.S America but it’s not all smooth sailing as they head out to sea; etiquette is cast off through the portholes as two unlikely pairs set off on the course to find true love. Their journey proves that sometimes destiny needs a little help from a crew of singing and dancing sailors, a comical disguise, a farcical blackmail, delightful double-entendres, and some timeless good fun!
Featuring a joyful, gold-plated score of theatre’s most memorable standards, including ‘I Get A Kick Out of You’, ‘You’re the Top’, ‘It’s De- Lovely!’ and Anything Goes, it’s everything you want a big Broadway musical to be and more!
