The full cast for the UK premiere of the stage musical adaptation of Roman Holiday, has been announced.

The cast will be lead by the previously announced Michael D. Xavier as Joe Bradley and Rebecca Collingwood as Princess Ann.

Featuring Richenda Carey, Adrian Der Gregorian, Tim Frances, Tania Mathurin, Gabrielle Cocca, Maya De Faria, Frances Dee, Joshua Gibbons, Heather Jackson, Ediz Mahmut, Max Mirza, Mia Mullarkey, Jesus Reyes Ortiz, Josh Patel-Foster, George Renshaw and Ollie Selwood.

Italian chic, European glamour and the timeless music and songs of the legendary Cole Porter combine in a glittering new stage musical based on the bittersweet movie comedy.

Roman Holiday follows a youthful princess and an American journalist on a frenetic 24-hour adventure through the delights of the Italian capital. Ann, a young princess visiting Rome on a goodwill tour, escapes from the watchful eye of her chaperones. She meets Joe who offers to show her around the city, but Joe’s editor has demanded a story regarding a missing princess.

Through the course of one charming day and eventful night in Rome, Ann and Joe grow closer, but will true romance blossom before Ann has to return to her royal duties…?

Now featuring the unforgettable music of Cole Porter including Easy To Love, You Do Something To Me, In The Still Of The Night, Just One Of Those Things and Night and Day.

Roman Holiday is directed by double Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Jeremy Sams. Adapted for the stage by Kirsten Guenther and Paul Blake, featuring choreography by Matt Cole & Jane McMurtie, set & costume design by Francis O’Connor, lighting design by Mark Henderson, sound design by Tom Marshall, with casting director Ginny Schiller CDG.

Roman Holiday will play the Theatre Royal Bath, running from 10th June – 1st July 2023, with tickets on sale now.
