The stage musical adaptation of MURIEL’S WEDDING will reportedly tour the UK, ahead of a planned West End run, it has been revealed.
MURIEL’S WEDDING – THE MUSICAL composer Kate Miller-Heidke was recently interviewed in The Sydney Morning Herald, an update on the musical was revealed.
When mentioning her and MURIEL’S WEDDING – THE MUSICAL co-composer Keir Nuttall’s upcoming plans for this year, the article states: “They plan to go to the UK where Muriel’s Wedding, which won five Helpmann Awards, including Best Original Score, is slated to open on the West End after a regional tour in Britain.”
MURIEL’S WEDDING – THE MUSICAL received its 2017 world premiere at Sydney Theatre Company, followed by an Australian tour in 2019.
