⭐ OLIVER MAWDSLEY, LAURA JANE MATTHEWSON, ANTON STEPHANS & MORE ANNOUNCED FOR UK TOUR OF LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS ⭐

The cult classic musical LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is returning to UK theatres with a brand-new co-production for Spring 2024.

Co-producers Octagon Theatre Bolton, New Wolsey Theatre, Theatre by the Lake and Hull Truck Theatre have announced the cast for Howard Ashman and Alan Menken’s monster musical, which will be directed by the Octagon’s Artistic Director, Lotte Wakeham.

A stellar company of 9 actors including several talented actor-musicians make up the cast for this devilishly delicious sci-fi smash-hit musical.

Starring Oliver Mawdsley (Boys from the Blackstuff) as Seymour, with Laura Jane Matthewson (Dogfight) as Audrey. The man-eating plant, Audrey II, will be voiced by 2015 X Factor finalist and West End regular Anton Stephans.

Also starring Matthew Ganley (One Man, Two Guvnors) as Orin, Matthew Heywood (Zorro) as Derelict, Janna May (The Museum of Marvellous Things) as Chiffon, Zweyla Mitchell Dos Santos (The Hypochondriac) as Crystal, Chardai Shaw (Protest, Poetry, Peace and Song) as Ronnette and Andrew Whitehead (The Book Thief) as Mr Mushnik.

Featuring set & costume design by TK Hay, lighting design by Nic Farman, sound design by James Cook, musical direction by Gabrielle Ball, movement direction by Sundeep Sani, musical supervision by George Strickland, puppet direction & design by Michael Fowkes, costume supervision by Su Newell, assistant design by Ania Levy, associate director Anna Pool and assistant director Jack Clearwater.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS has a book & lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken. Based on the film by Roger Corman, screenplay by Charles Griffith.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will open at New Wolsey Theatre from 1st – 23rd March 2024, then Theatre by the Lake from 27th March – 20th April 2024, Octagon Theatre Bolton from 24th April – 18th May 2024 and Hull Truck Theatre from 22nd May – 8th June 2024.
