⭐ LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS – UK REVIVAL – CAST ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐
Intial casting for the major new UK revival of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, coming to Manchester and Liverpool, has been announced.
Maisie Smith (EastEnders, Strictly Come Dancing) will take to the stage in her first leading musical theatre role, starring as the iconic Audrey for the Manchester run at Hope Mill Theatre, from 25th September – 29th November 2026.
The production then heads into its spectacular festive season at the Liverpool Playhouse, where Jessie Elland (Emmerdale, 101 Dalmatians) will take over the role from 3rd December 2026 – 9th January 2027.
They will be joined by an outstanding West End cast, including Jed Berry as Seymour, Marcus Ayton as the voice of Audrey II, Michael Starke as Mr Mushnik and Benjamin Yates as Orin Scrivello, DDS.
Completing the iconic trio of streetwise narrators are Psalms-Nissi Myers-Reid as Crystal, Gabrielle Davina Smith as Ronnette and Rio Maye as Chiffon.
The ensemble will feature Ella Howlett, Joseph Peacock, Nathen Scott and Kai Cameron Jay, with further casting to be announced.
Directed and choreographed by Tony and Olivier Award nominated Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, this brand-new rival will unleash Alan Menken and Howard Ashman’s legendary musical with jaw-dropping energy, razor-sharp comedy, unforgettable songs, and a plant with an appetite bigger than ever before.
Featuring set & costume design by Morgan Large, musical supervision & arrangements by Paul Schofield, lighting design by Rory Beaton, sound design by Kelsh Buckman Drage and casting direction by Rob Kelly.
This is Little Shop as you have never seen it before. She’s hungry — don’t tease her unless you mean it. LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS is bigger, bolder, and ready to take over the stage.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS will play Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester, running from 25th September – 29th November 2026 and Liverpool Playhouse, running from 3rd December 2026 – 9th January 2027, with tickets on sale now.
