⭐ LIFELINE – A NEW MUSICAL – LONDON PREMIERE – CAST ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐

Casting for the London premiere of new musical LIFELINE has been announced.

LIFELINE makes its highly-anticipated London premiere at Southwark Playhouse Elephant this spring. A new Scottish musical about one moment that changed history, two love stories seventy years apart, infused with nostalgic Scottish folk sounds and foot-stomping rhythms.

Fresh from an acclaimed debut off-Broadway run; a history-making performance as the first musical to ever perform at the United Nations and two previous sell-out runs at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, this brand-new production today announces its 10 strong West-End and Broadway musical theatre cast.

Starring Alan Vicary as Alexander Fleming, Maz McGinlay as Jess Irvine, Nathan Salstone as Aaron Elliot/Clowes, Kieran Brown as Merlin Pryce, Helen Logan as Layla Elliot, Robbie Scott as Julian Kerr and Kelly Glyptis as Amalia Voureka.

Featuring Hannah Visocchi as Dr Sarah/Ensemble, Jasmine Jules Andrews as Nurse Irvine/Ensemble and Graham Richardson as Ensemble.

LIFELINE is inspired by real historical events, real voices and a real modern day global crisis. Each performance features a different chorus of nurses, doctors, scientists, microbiologists, vets and dentists, appearing alongside the professional cast and a six-piece band, making every night genuinely unique.

LIFELINE is directed by Alex Howarth, featuring music contributions by James Ross, musical direction by Neil Metcalfe, choreography by Leanne Pinder, set design by Abby Clarke, costume design by Alice McNicholas, lighting design by Matthew Craigen and sound design by Paul Smith.

LIFELINE has music & lyrics by Robin Hiley, with a book by Becky Hope-Palmer.

LIFELINE will play Southwark Playhouse Borough, running from 28th March – 2nd May 2026 with tickets on sale now.
