⭐ LA CAGE AUX FOLLES – REGENT’S PARK OPEN AIR THEATRE REVIVAL EXTENDS RUN ⭐
The critically-acclaimed Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES has extended its run, it has been announced.
The production has extended its run by another week, now playing until 23rd September 2023.
Starring Carl Mullaney as Albin, with Billy Carter as Georges.
Also starring Ben Culleton as Jean-Michel, Julie Jupp as Marie Dindon, Shakeel Kimotho as Jacob, Debbie Kurup as Jacqueline, John Owen-Jones as Edward Dindon, and Sophie Pourret as Anne.
Featuring Jak Allen-Anderson as Hanna, Craig Armstrong as Cagelle, Tom Bales as Cagelle, Taylor Bradshaw as Cagelle, Daniele Coombe as Mme. Renaud, Jordan Lee Davies as Chantal, Nicole Deon as Ensemble, Lewis Easter as Cagelle/Swing/Dance Captain, Harvey Ebbage as Cagelle, Emma Johnson as Ensemble/Swing, George Lynham as Cagelle, JP McCue as Cagelle, Rishard-Kyro Nelson as Cagelle/Swing, Alexandra Waite-Roberts as Ensemble and Hemi Yeroham as Francis.
Georges, Albin and their son Jean-Michel re-discover the true meaning of family, and of putting yourself last so that the ones you love can come first.
The new production is directed by artistic director Tim Sheader, featuring casting direction by Amy Ball, costume design by Ryan Dawson Laight, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Nick Lidster, choreography by Stephen Mear, set design by Colin Richmond, musical direction by Ben van Tienen and musical supervision by Jennifer Whyte.
LA CAGE AUX FOLLES has a book by Harvey Fierstein, with music and lyrics by Jerry Herman Based on the play by Jean Poiret, and includes the classic songs “I Am What I Am” and “The Best of Times”.
LA CAGE AUX FOLLES is playing the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, now running until 23rd September 2023, with tickets on sale now.
