A casting update has been announced for the London production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning and Tony Award-winning musical A STRANGE LOOP.

Kyle Birch has taken over the role Usher, succeeding the departing Kyle Ramar Freeman, for the remainder of the run.

Christopher Michael Richardson joins the cast as the new Usher Understudy, after previously playing the role on Broadway.

Also starring Nathan Armarkwei-Laryea as Thought 2, Danny Bailey as Thought 5, Eddie Elliott as Thought 6, Sharlene Hector as Thought 1, Tendai Humphrey Sitima as Thought 4 and Yeukayi Ushe as Thought 3.

With Rebecca Bernice Amissah as Understudy Thought 1, Momar Diagne as Understudy Thought 2, 3, 4 and Jean-Luke Worrell as Understudy Thought 5, 6.

Directed by Stephen Brackett, featuring choreography by Raja Feather Kelly, music supervision by Rona Siddiqui, orchestrations by Charlie Rosen, scenic design by Arnulfo Maldonado, costume design by Montana Levi Blanco, lighting design by Jen Schriever and sound design by Drew Levy.

A STRANGE LOOP is currently playing a limited run at the Barbican, running until 9th September 2023, with tickets on sale now.
