⭐ KAYCEE STROH TO STAR IN UK REVIVAL OF HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL ⭐
Further casting for the UK revival of Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL has been announced.
KayCee Stroh will star in Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL as Ms Darbus.
Stroh is an internationally recognised performer and dynamic triple threat, best known for her role as Martha Cox in Disney’s global phenomenon, the High School Musical film trilogy.
She joins previously announced Jason Donovan as Coach Bolton, Tobias Turley as Troy, Leonor Correia as Gabriella, Caitlin Tipping as Sharpay and Luke Bayer as Ryan, with further casting to be revealed in due course.
Produced by Hope Mill Theatre and Chris Harper Productions with Lowry, Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL will have its first UK non-replica production at Lowry, Salford, 20 years after the iconic movie.
The Lyric Theatre at Lowry will be completely transformed into an immersive basketball court, with on stage seating and an extended stage, bringing audiences into the world of East High.
Based on the hit Disney Channel Original movie, that inspired a generation, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL features classic songs such as “Breaking Free”, “We’re All In This Together”, “Get’cha Head in the Game”, “Stick to the Status Quo” and many more.
This new production will be co-directed by Hope Mill founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton.
Also featuring choreography by Aaron Renfree, set design by Andrew Exeter, sound design by Matt Peploe, video design by George Reeve, lighting design by Rory Beaton, costume design by Sophia Pardon, musical supervision by Katy Richardson, musical direction by Audra Cramer, casting by Pearson Casting, production management by Ammonite Studios and general management by Chris Harper Productions.
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL has a book by David Simpatico with music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle.
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL will play Lowry, Salford, running from 21st August – 19th September 2026,with tickets on sale now.
