⭐ JODIE COMER IN TALKS TO PLAY MISS HONEY IN MATILDA MOVIE MUSICAL ⭐
Killing Eve star Jodie Comer is in talks to play Miss Honey, in the movie musical adaptation of Matilda.
According to Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye, Comer is the new favorite for the role, but her official casting will depend on her availabilty.
The film was originally expected to shoot from August, however, the shooting schedule for the film is now up in the air due the current situation with COVID-19.
Matilda will be directed by Matthew Warchus, who also directed the original stage production. Netflix and Working Title will co-produce.
This new film adaptation will be of the multi-award winning musical from the Royal Shakespeare Company, which has a book by Dennis Kelly, original songs by Tim Minchin and was inspired by the beloved book by the incomparable Roald Dahl.
