⭐ BEN JOYCE, OLIVER HEWING, CHRISTINE ALLADO, ZACHARY JAMES, DEX LEE, ADAM STRONG & MORE ANNOUNCED FOR THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME – IN CONCERT ⭐
The cast for the UK professional premiere of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME has been announced.
The concert production, staged at the Prince Edward Theatre, will feature an onstage company of over 50.
Starring Ben Joyce (Back To The Future – The Musical) as Quasimodo, the role of Quasimodo will also be BSL interpreted on-stage by Oliver Hewing, Christine Allado (The Prince of Egypt – The Musical) as Esmerelda, Zachary James (Hadestown) as Claude Frollo, Dex Lee (Moulin Rouge – The Musical) as Captain Phoebus and Adam Strong (The Rocky Horror Show) as Clopin.
Also starring Lois Mia Chapman, Davide Fienauri, Caleb Lagayan, Emma Lloyd, Anna Marya Smith, Fanja Parent and Aaron Rahn.
The production also features a 20 piece choir from the London Voices.
The orchestra includes Jonathan Lee, Laura Melhuish, Ciaran McCabe, William Hillman, Millie Ashton, Rebecca Bill, Rachel Robson, Elaine Ambridge, Nerys Richards, Dave Hornberger, Adam Higgs, Jack Reddick, Hannah Lawrance, Janey Miller, Alice Lee, Russell Bennett, Angela Whelan, Chris Augustine, Anna Douglass, James Turner, Alan Berry and Mark Etherington.
THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME will be directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, with musical direction by Olivier Award-winner Alan Williams, choreography by Olivier Award nominee Mark Smith, lighting design by Jamie Platt, costume design by Alice McNicholas, sound design by Sound Quiet Time, casting direction by Harry Blumenau, production management by Toby P Darvill for Production Solutions Group and creative signing consultation by Kevin Jewell.
THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME has music & lyrics from the 1996 animated film by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz and additional songs written for the musical by the two Oscar winners, and a book by Peter Parnell.
THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME will play the Prince Edward Theatre, on Sunday 17th August 2025 – 3pm & 7:30pm and Sunday 24th August 2025 – 6pm. Tickets are on sale now.
