Curve Leicester’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice’s The Wizard of Oz will embark on a UK tour in 2023, it has been announced.
The Curve Leicester will now stage the regional premiere production of Andrew Lloyd Webber & Tim Rice’s The Wizard of Oz in 2022, before the production heads out on tour, early 2023.
Based on the iconic MGM film, the musical features iconic numbers by Harold Arlen and E Y Harburg including “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “Follow The Yellow Brick Road”.
Book by Lloyd Webber and Jeremy Sams with new music & lyrics penned by Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.
Direction by the venue’s artistic director Nikolai Foster.
