⭐ STILETTO – A NEW MUSICAL – PRO-SHOT RELEASED ⭐
A pro-shot of the world premiere production of new musical STILETTO has been released.
The critically-acclaimed musical premiered at London’s Charing Cross Theatre last year, now a pro-shot of that production has recently been released online to view for free, via composer Matthew Wilder’s YouTube channel.

Set in 18th-century Italy, STILETTO follows Marco, a young castrato singer navigating the opulent yet perilous world of Venetian opera. His life changes when he meets Gioia; confident, strong willed…and supremely talented. But despite her musical gifts, as a black woman in a racist and misogynist society, there’s no chance for her to fulfil her dreams.
Marco recognises her talent and, sensing that they are both outsiders as well as sharing a love for music, they fall in love. When a murder shatters their world, Marco must confront his past to save her. A sweeping tale of ambition, love, sacrifice, and resilience, STILETTO brings an opulent, rarely explored slice of musical history to the stage.
STILETTO stars Jack Chambers as Marco, Jewelle Hutchinson as Gioia, Greg Barnett as Faustino, Sam Barrett as Luigi, Connor Wood as Niccolo, Kelly Hampson as Azzurra D’Orozco and Douglas Hansell as Pietro D’Orozco.
Featuring Alex Anstey, Aiden Carson, Richard Dawes, Grace Galloway, Jennie Jacobs, Owen Johnston, Cassandra McCowan, Hannah Murdoch, Samuel John Taylor and Sienna Widd.
STILETTO features direction by David Gilmore, staging consultancy by Tony and Olivier nominated choreographer Anthony Van Laast, musical staging by Chris Baldock and musical direction by Jae Alexander. Featuring orchestrations by Simon Nathan, set design by Ceci Calf, costume design by Anna Kelsey, lighting design by Ben Ormerod, sound design by Andrew Johnson and casting by Neil Rutherford.
The pro-shot film is directed by Rupert Bryan.
STILETTO has music & lyrics by three-time Grammy nominee, Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Matthew Wilder, with a book by double Olivier Award nominee Tim Luscombe.
