A new UK tour of PRETTY WOMAN – THE MUSICAL has been announced.
Big night out. Big. HUGE. PRETTY WOMAN – THE MUSICAL returns for a major UK Tour. It’s time to head to Beverly Hills and experience one of Hollywood’s most iconic romantic comedies of all time as the production takes to the road again in 2027 following a record-breaking run in the West End and a sell-out first UK tour in 2023.
The tour will open at the New Wimbledon Theatre on 10th March 2027, before visiting Manchester, Milton Keynes, York, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Sunderland, Southampton, Hull, Stoke-on-Trent, Leeds, Oxford, Bristol, Liverpool, Nottingham, Woking and Aberdeen, with further venues and casting to be announced.
Vivian and Edward are unlikely soulmates who overcome all odds to find each other… and themselves. Experience the moments you love from the movie – and get to know these iconic characters in a whole new way – in this dazzlingly joyous love story for the ages.
Brought to life by a powerhouse creative team representing the best of music, Hollywood and Broadway, PRETTY WOMAN – THE MUSICAL features direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, an original score by Grammy winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance and a book by the movie’s legendary director Garry Marshall and screenwriter J.F. Lawton.
Featured in the musical is Roy Orbison and Bill Dee’s international smash hit song ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’ which inspired one of the most beloved romantic comedy films of all time. PRETTY WOMAN the film was an international smash hit when it was released in 1990.
PRETTY WOMAN – THE MUSICAL has scenic design by David Rockwell, costumes by Tom Rogers from the original Broadway designs by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Philip S. Rosenberg, sound design by John Shivers, hair design by Josh Marquette, and music supervision, arrangements & orchestrations by Will Van Dyke. 101 Productions, Ltd/Kathy Kim are the Global General Management Consultant.
