Alex Young and Ellie Nunn are, frankly, fantastic. So why haven’t we seen them playing opposite each other and what would happen if we did…?
A few years ago, these two very chatty actors got to discussing what roles they might like to take onbtogether, only to discover that most musicals only had room for one three-dimensional sad, funny woman who makes us laugh and cry and encompasses all the messy glorious-ness of what it is to be a human.
Without staying strictly relegated to separate boxes (one funny big boob lady, one morose waif), it seemed they might never occupy the same performance space. And they weren’t having any of that.
Come and join them for an evening that intends to prove otherwise. You don’t need one funny girl with big boobs, you can have two.
