⭐ THE RAILWAY CHILDREN – A MUSICAL – CAST ANNOUNCED ⭐
Casting for the new stage musical adaptation of The Railway Children has been announced.
The Railway Children will star Anna Vardy as Mother, Darren Street as Father, Laura Sillett as Bobbie, Cassius Hackforth as Peter, Charlotte Fleming as Phyllis, Elliott Griffiths as Perks, Clare Salter as Mrs Perks, Tony Siddall as Old Gentleman, Jamie Jonathan as Jim, Rosie Hatton as Miss Connolly, Dan Barzotti as Inspector, Catharine Humphrys as Mrs Viney, Christine Siddall as Gladys and Sue Sillett as Tea Lady.
Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis live an idyllic life with their parents in Edwardian London until, one evening, two mysterious men take Father away. Forced to move to the countryside with Mother, they find themselves in the middle of all manner of adventures. Their new life on the railway may not be so bad, but why does Mother keep returning to London? Why aren’t the villagers more welcoming? And will Father ever come home?
A new musical adaptation of the E. Nesbit classic family novel by award-winning British writing team Alex Parker and Katie Lam, featuring a lush and sweeping score.
The Railway Children will be directed by Deborah Crowe, with musical direction by Alex Parker and musical staging by Jordan Lee Davies.

The Railway Children – A Musical will play The Electric Theatre in Guildford, running from 31st January – 5th February 2023, with tickets on sale now.
