⭐ WORLD PREMIERE OF THE BOOK THIEF MUSICAL ADAPTATION POSTPONED ⭐
The world premiere of the musical stage adaptation of the bestselling novel The Book Thief has been postponed, it has been announced.
The show was originally meant to premiere at Bolton’s Octagon Theatre in March 2021 but due to Covid-19 the theatre has had to postpone the production, with new dates to be revealed at a later date.
This adaptation is by award-winning best-selling author Jodi Picoult (My Sister’s Keeper) and Timothy Allen McDonald (adaptor of Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka and James and the Giant Peach) with songs by Kate Anderson and Elyssa Samsel (Olaf’s Frozen Adventure) and will be directed by Lotte Wakeham.
Gutting but understandable. I look forward to seeing this show in the future! ! !
