WORLD PREMIERE OF JACK HOLDEN’S CRUISE COMING TO WEST END – MAY 2021

⭐ WORLD PREMIERE OF JACK HOLDEN’S CRUISE COMING TO WEST END – MAY 2021 ⭐

Aria Entertainment and Lambert Jackson have announced that the world premiere of new play CRUISE will open at the Duchess Theatre this May.

Written and performed by Jack Holden, this bold, one-man show featuring live music will be one of the first plays to open in the West End following its closure in March 2020.

Based on a true story Jack was told whilst volunteering for Switchboard, the LGBTQ+ Listening Service, this new play pays tribute to a generation decimated by HIV and AIDS. Bringing to life 1980’s Soho, this kaleidoscopic musical is a celebration of queer culture with an uplifting 80s electronic soundtrack performed live by John Elliott.

The filmed version will still be available to watch from 15th – 25th April at Stream.Theatre before it arrives in the West End this May.

The venue will be operating at 50% capacity in line with the current government guidelines and with Covid safety measures in place.

CRUISE is written & performed by Jack Holden with music & sound design by John Elliott, directed by Bronagh Lagan, design by Nik Corrall, co-design by STUFISH, lighting design by Jai Morjaria, movement by Sarah Golding and additional sound design by Max Pappenheim.

Produced by Aria Entertainment and Lambert Jackson, making their West End debuts.

CRUISE will play the Duchess Theatre running from 18th May – 13th June 2021.
