⭐ WEST END STARS ANNOUNCED FOR THE GRAND FINAL OF WEST END CALLING ⭐
The line-up of West End stars has been revealed as judges for the grand final of the UK’s biggest search for young musical theatre talent, West End Calling.
The judges will be Natalie May Paris (SIX), Cleve September (In The Heights, Hamilton), Christina Bennington (Heathers, Bat Out Of Hell) and Laura Pick (The Sound Of Music, Wicked).
Grace Mouat (& Juliet, SIX) will host the Grand Final this Sunday 12th December at the Charing Cross Theatre where young performers from all over the UK will compete to be crowned the winner.
There are two shows, the junior final at 4pm and the senior final at 7pm. Each performer will receive feedback from the judges who will then decide on who will take home the trophy.
Creative Director, Alex James Ellison ‘The Grand Final is basically the best musical theatre showcase you’ll see all year. Young performers from all over the UK come together to put on a show and I don’t know anywhere else where you would find such a diverse range of performances. Each year we run the competition, the standard gets higher and higher and this year is no exception. When lockdown hit, we had to pause the competition for a year and a half and being able to give these young performers a platform to perform again has been amazing. Each and every one of them deserves their spot in the final and I am so excited to see what they’ve got for us. Best of luck to everyone performing!’
West End Calling is a nationwide competition for aspiring musical theatre performers ranging from age 6-21. They offer unique experiences to young performers all over the UK to get feedback from West End performers and perform throughout the competition in many different venues. Along with amazing prizes, the opportunities they provide mean that taking part in this competition is invaluable to anyone wanting to go into the performing arts industry.
West End Calling – The Grand Final will take place at the Charing Cross Theatre on the 12th December, 4pm Junior Final and 7pm Senior Final, with tickets on sale now.
