⭐ WAITRESS UK & IRELAND TOUR POSTPONED ⭐
The highly anticipated UK & Ireland tour of hit musical Waitress is to be postponed.
The musical was due to embark on a UK & Ireland tour from November 2020 but in light of the Covid-19 situation, that obviously wasn’t looking likely.
All dates have been taken off sale from the ATG website, each now with a pending status. This hopefully means that the tour is in the process of being rescheduled, like many other shows have had to do.
Waitress has an original score by seven-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles, book by Jessie Nelson, direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus and choreography by Lorin Latarro.
Based on the film of the same name, it follows a waitress in a diner who dreams of leaving her job and forging a life of her own.
I was hoping they would only have to reschedule the first couple of dates. Fingers crossed that this tour will be happening sooner rather that later.
