⭐ WAITRESS BROADWAY RETURN – STARRING SARA BAREILLES CONFIRMED ⭐
The critically acclaimed musical Waitress will return to Broadway this Autumn, it has been confirmed.
Sara Bareilles will return to the lead role of Jenna Hunterson from 2nd September through 17th October 2021, while the show is planned to run until 9th January 2022, playing Broadway’s Barrymore Theatre.
There are also rumours of plans to film the production, after Covid derailed previous plans to film the West End production.
Based on the film of the same name, it follows a waitress in a diner who dreams of leaving her job and forging a life of her own.
Waitress has an original score by seven-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles, book by Jessie Nelson, direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus and choreography by Lorin Latarro.
