⭐ UPDATED & REVISED PRODUCTION OF FROZEN ANNOUNCED FOR WEST END ⭐
An updated and revised version of the stage musical Frozen will be coming to the West End, it has been announced.
The major changes, which were adopted from the US touring production, include a new duet for lead characters Anna and Elsa in the second act, a trimmed entr’acte number (“Hygge”) and the elimination of Anna’s solo, “True Love.”
The changes were made to help the make the piece cleaner, more succinct and further clarify the storyline.
The new version will also appear in front of audiences on Broadway from 18th February alongside a new cast, including Ciara Renée as Elsa and McKenzie Kurtz as Anna.
These changes announced for the Broadway and upcoming West End production, will also be included in upcoming productions in Japan, Australia and Germany, so that all versions will match.
Frozen is brought to the stage by an award-winning creative team, with direction by Tony & Olivier Award winner Michael Grandage and a book by Academy & BAFTA Award winner Jennifer Lee.
Playing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane from October 2020, following the venue’s ambitious £45 million refurbishment.
