The full cast & creatives for the upcoming concert production of cult classic BAT BOY – THE MUSICAL have been announced.
Joining the cast are Tosh Wanogho-Maud (Ain’t Too Proud), Glenn Adamson (We Will Rock You), Kyle Birch (A Strange Loop), Gillian Kirkpatrick (The Bridges of Madison County), Shane O’Riordan (Miss Saigon), Jenny O’Leary (We Will Rock You), Rumi Sutton (Miss Saigon), Thomas Vernal (The Book Of Morman) and Edward Flynn Haddon (13).
They join the previously announced Jordan Luke Gage (Bonnie & Clyde), Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Cinderella), Trevor Dion Nicholas (Next To Normal) and Jodie Steele (Heathers).
The rock horror musical with music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe (Heathers, Legally Blonde) first premiered on Halloween in 1997. Since then, BAT BOY has garnered a devoted following with its award-winning off-Broadway and West End runs and addictive soundtrack.
Set against a backdrop of a small town ravaged by prejudice, the dark comedy explores themes of fear, acceptance and the consequences of othering, questioning what it means to be ‘normal’.
The show will be directed by Dean Johnson, featuring musical direction by Paul Schofield, set & lighting design by Andrew Exeter, video design by Dan Light & Andrea Scott, assistant musical direction by Liam Godwin, production management by James Anderton, sound design by Aidan Jones, make-up artist Katie Allday, movement direction by Rhys Wilkinson and produced by Chris Steward & Shanay Holmes for West End Musical Productions.
BAT BOY – THE MUSICAL will play the London Palladium, on 31st October 2023, with tickets on sale now.
