⭐ TOM READ WILSON TO STAR IN UK PREMIERE OF THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL ⭐
Tom Read Wilson will star as Squidward in the UK premiere of The SpongeBob Musical, it has been announced.
Wilson will play the role in Bradford, Manchester, Sheffield, Peterborough, Wolverhampton, Leicester and Aberdeen.
Tom Read Wilson is probably best known as the receptionist on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating and studied at Rose Bruford College and the Royal Academy of Music.
As previously announced, Gareth Gates will play the role of Squidward in Southampton, Birmingham, Oxford, Dublin, Belfast, Cardiff, Blackpool and Norwich.
Further casting for the production’s run at Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, in Plymouth and Newcastle to be announced.
The SpongeBob Musical will star Lewis Cornay as SpongeBob, Irfan Damani as Patrick, Chrissie Bhima as Sandy, Gareth Gates as Squidward, Divina de Campo as Sheldon J. Plankton, Sarah Freer as Pearl, Eloise Davies as Mrs Puff, Hannah Lowther as Karen and Rebecca Lisewski as Mayor.
Also starring Sam Beveridge, Jeremiah Olaleye, Eleanor Turianksy, Rhys Batten and Reece Kerridge.
The tour will open at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton on 5th April 2023, before heading off around the UK.
