⭐ TOM BROWN’S SCHOOLDAYS MUSICAL LEADS UNION THEATRE’S 2020 SEASON ⭐

A new musical adaptation of Tom Brown’s Schooldays has been announced for the Union Theatre’s upcoming 2020 season.

This will be part of the Phil Willmott Company’s Essential Classics season 2020: V.E Day – 75 Years On, for the Union Theatre.

The new musical adaptation sets the timeless classic of public school life amongst a generation who will go on to fight in the Battle of Britain.

Tom Brown’s Schooldays will run from 4th January – 2nd February 2020.

Also announced as part of the upcoming season was Blitz! The epic musical from Lionel Bart, the writer of OLIVER!

Britain and Germany are at war but on the streets of London so are the Jewish Blitztein family & the cockney Lockes. When their children fall in love a poignant, funny & unforgettable wartime romance unfolds amidst the air raids.

Blitz! will run from 6th February – 7th March 2020.

The last show of the season is the first ever UK revival of Noël Coward’s Peace In Our Time.

Defeated in war, can we ever survive the peace?

A rare chance to see the forgotten wartime drama of 1940’s Britain under Nazi ooccupation.

Peace In Our Time will run from 11th March – 4th April 2020.

Sounds like a really interesting season of shows for the Union Theatre.
