The Dutch premiere of award-winning musical THE LITTLE BIG THINGS has been announced.

This summer, the Royal Theatre Carré exclusively presents the acclaimed musical THE LITTLE BIG THINGS. Following the extraordinary success of Hadestown last summer, Carré once again brings a remarkable English language Broadway in Carré production to the stage. In the iconic arena of Carré, this powerful West End musical comes vividly to life, accompanied by a live band. Experience this story of love and hope up close and in a way you never expected.

A powerful and deeply moving true story about the one moment that changes everything. When life suddenly turns upside down, do you retreat, or do you dare to see the world with new eyes? A story everyone can relate to, filled with real people, raw emotions, profound setbacks and unexpected triumphs. THE LITTLE BIG THINGS will move you, celebrate resilience and reveal how sometimes it really is, the little things which matter the most.

THE LITTLE BIG THINGS is part of Broadway in Carré, a leading series in which the Royal Theatre Carré exclusively brings original English language hit musicals from Broadway and the West End to the Netherlands. Previous productions in the series include The Last Ship, Hadestown, The Book of Mormon, Sunset Boulevard and Pippin.

The Dutch premiere will be directed by Ola Mafaalani and produced by director of Royal Theatre Carré Madeleine van der Zwaan.

THE LITTLE BIG THINGS has music by Nick Butcher, lyrics by Nick Butcher and Tom Ling, with a book by Joe White. Based on the Sunday Times best-selling autobiography by Henry Fraser.

THE LITTLE BIG THINGS will play Royal Theater Carré, Amsterdam, running from 20th June – 16th August 2026, with tickets on sale from 10th March 2026 – 12pm.
