⭐ THE JUNGLE BOOK STAGE MUSICAL ADAPTATION ANNOUNCED ⭐

A new stage musical adaptation of the classic animated film, Disney’s The Jungle Book, has been announced to be in development.

This stage adaptation of The Jungle Book is stated to be directed by Tony Award-winning choreographer Christopher Gattelli (Newsies) with a book by Rajiv Joseph (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo) and new songs by original Jungle Book composer Richard M. Sherman.

The Jungle Book tells the story of Mowgli, a feral child raised in the Indian jungle by wolves, as his friends Bagheera the panther and Baloo the bear try to convince him to leave the jungle before the evil tiger Shere Khan arrives.

The animated film was based on Rudyard Kipling’s 1894 book of the same name, featuring the classic song “The Bare Necessities”.

This could certainly make for an interesting adaptation, kids would absolutely love it! ! !
