Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s Tell Me On A Sunday will embark on a new UK tour from June, it has been announced.
Jodie Prenger will return to the role of Emma, for the 2021 UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s classic musical, Tell Me On A Sunday.
The UK tour will open at Malvern Festival Theatre on 15th June 2021, then on to Shrewsbury Theatre, Chelmsford City Theatres, Canterbury Marlowe Theatre, Nottingham Theatre Royal, Birmingham Hippodrome, Sheffield Lyceum, Grimsby Auditorium, Edinburgh King’s, Curve Leicester, The Lowry Salford and Bury St Edmonds Theatre. Further dates and venues are to be announced.
Charting the romantic misadventures of an English girl in New York during the heady days of the 1980’s, this iconic musical features Andrew Lloyd Webber’s wonderful score, accompanied live by West End musicians, including the chart-topping Take That Look Off Your Face and title track Tell Me On A Sunday.
Previously performed by iconic musical theatre stars Marti Webb and Sarah Brightman, this new production directed by Paul Foster includes an intimate post-show chat with Jodie charting her life, love and experience playing the role of Emma.
