⭐ SYLVIA – THE OLD VIC TEASE ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐
The Old Vic has teased an announcement involving the musical Sylvia, it has been revealed.
The Old Vic tweeted that an announcement will be coming on 6th October, accompanied by a snippet of audio, which would be familiar to those who know the show.
Votes for Women and a fractured family at a momentous hour in British history. 100 years after the first women in Britain were granted the vote, Kate Prince combines dance, hip hop, soul and funk to shed new light on a remarkable story at the heart of the Suffragette movement.
Sylvia is a modern musical celebrating the life of Sylvia Pankhurst, her pivotal role in the campaign for women’s rights and the price of the passion and politics that tore her family apart.
Sylvia is co-written by Kate Prince and Priya Parmar with original music by Josh Cohen and DJ Walde,
Sylvia was last staged at The Old Vic back in 2018, featuring a cast that included Beverley Knight, Genesis Lynea, Izuka Hoyle, Carly Bawden, John Dagleish and Karl Queensborough among others.
I really hope this is in regards to it returning, I would love to see this! ! !
