The cast for the Frinton Summer Theatre revival of Stephen Sondheim’s thrilling masterpiece SWEENEY TODD – THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET has been announced.
From the vengeful barber himself to the deliciously devious Mrs Lovett, this exceptional company promises an unforgettable production packed with soaring music, dark humour and gripping drama.
Starring Michael Robert-Lowe as Sweeney Todd, Shona White as Mrs Lovett, Edward Watchman as Anthony, Ayesha Patel as Johanna, David Phipps-Davis as Judge Turpin and Luke Farrugia as Pirelli
Also starring Rob Gathercole as Beadle Bamford, Clare Aster as Beggar Woman, Joe Keenan as Tobias, Abigail Rogers as Fogg/Ensemble and featuring musical direction by Neil Somerville.

Since 1934, Frinton Summer Theatre has brought professional theatre to the Essex coast. Each summer, The McGrigor Hall is transformed into an intimate 200-seat theatre for a season of weekly changing productions, culminating in a spectacular musical in the Big Top Tent on the Frinton-on-Sea Greensward – a truly unique theatre experience by the sea.
