⭐ STEPHENSON ARDERN-SODJE TO STAR IN REGENT’S PARK OPEN AIR THEATRE REVIVAL OF ONCE ON THIS ISLAND ⭐
Hamilton star Stephenson Ardern-Sodje will star in the brand-new London revival of the musical Once On This Island, it has been announced.
Ardern-Sodje will play the role of Daniel, joining the previously announced Gabrielle Brooks (Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical), who will star as Ti Moune, in the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production.
Directed by Ola Ince, the story of love, grief, faith and hope tells of peasant girl Ti Moune, a boy called Daniel, and a union that prejudice forbids. Against the heat of the Caribbean sun and destruction of tropical storms, can Ti Moune settle the wager of the Gods, and prove that love is more powerful than death?
Once On This Island has a book & lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty. Based on the novel My Love, My Love by Rosa Guy.
Once On This Island will play Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, running from 10th May – 10th June 2023.
