A new revival of acclaimed play Song From Far Away has been announced for HOME Manchester.
World renowned performer, Will Young returns to the stage in Manchester in this major new production of Song From Far Away by Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens and Mark Eitzel.
One crisp winter day in New York, Willem receives a phone call – it’s time to go home.
Home to Amsterdam – to an estranged family and forgotten relationships. As he reflects on his life, unwilling to face the future, he finds himself reaching out to the brother he has lost.
“It was then that I decided to write you these letters.”
This emotional play is an unforgettable story and a personal letter to those left behind.
Song From Far Away is written by Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night–Time) and Mark Eitzel, directed by Kirk Jameson, co–produced by Thomas Hopkins, Guy Chapman and HOME.
Song From Far Away will play HOME Manchester, running from 22nd February – 11th March 2023, with tickets on sale now.
