The cast has been announced for The English Theatre Frankfurt production of SOMETHING ROTTEN!

Starring Bradley Adams as Brother Jeremiah, Bethany Amber-Wilde as Viola, Rachael Archer as Bea, William Beckerleg as Tom Snout, Matt Beveridge as Shakespeare, Estelle Denison-French as Rosalind, Liam Huband as Robin Starveling, Sami Kedar as Nigel Bottom, Briana Kelly as Portia, Greg Miller Burns as Nick Bottom, Jonathan Norman as Shylock, Chris Tarsey as Lord Clapham, Myles Waby as Peter Quince and Tom Watson as Nostradamus.

Welcome to the Renaissance, where the Black Plague has ceded power to the Puritans, ruffs and corsets are the latest fashions and the biggest celebrity in England is a playwright named William Shakespeare. In the midst of all this excitement, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are trying to keep their acting troupe afloat. In a desperate bid to outdo the bard, Nick consults an oracle who tells him that the future of theater lies in acting, singing and dancing – sometimes all at once! As the Bottom brothers attempt to write the world’s first musical, they find themselves locked in an all-out battle with the bard.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! is directed & choreographed by Ewan Jones, musical direction by Mal Hall, set & costume design by Stewart J. Charlesworth, lighting design by Jamie Platt, sound design by David Sidnev and casting by Marc Frankum CDG.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! has a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell, with music & lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick.

SOMETHING ROTTEN! will play The English Theatre Frankfurt, running from 17th November 2023 – 31st March 2024.
