⭐ SIR IAN MCKELLEN TO STAR AS HAMLET AT THEATRE ROYAL WINDSOR – RESCHEDULED DATES ANNOUNCED – JUNE 2021 ⭐

The previously delayed Theatre Royal Windsor production of Hamlet has announced new rescheduled dates.

Performances will now run from 21st June – 4th September 2021.

Sir Ian McKellen will take on the role of Hamlet for the first time in almost half a century in this new production.

The age-blind production of Shakespeare’s tragedy will also star Francesca Annis, Jenny Seagrove, Steven Berkoff, Emmanuella Cole, Alis Wyn Davies, Missy Malek, Ben Allen, Asif Khan, Nick Howard-Brown, Llinos Daniel and Ashley Gayle.

Design by Lee Newby, costume design by Loren Elstein, lighting design by Jamie Platt, composition and sound design by Adam Cork. Hamlet will be directed by Sean Mathias and produced by Bill Kenwright,

Following Hamlet, the company will also present Martin Sherman’s adaptation of Anton Chekov’s The Cherry Orchard, with McKellen as Firs the elderly manservant, which will play from 10th September – 23rd October 2021.

Tickets go on general sale from 20th March – 11am.
