⭐ SEA WITCH – A NEW MUSICAL – WORLD PREMIERE – CAST ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐
The major new musical SEA WITCH will receive its world premiere at London’s prestigious Theatre Royal Drury Lane, it has been announced.
SEA WITCH is a new musical that reimagines the origins of one of the sea’s most feared villains. A prequel inspired by The Little Mermaid, it follows Evie, a witch surviving in a world where magic is outlawed. When her fate collides with Annemette, a mermaid with a secret of her own, both are driven toward a reckoning that will reshape their futures forever.
A powerful story of identity, sacrifice, and self-discovery. A myth reimagined. A villain reborn.
All-star casting for this unmissable musical theatre event includes Natalie Paris as Evie, Amy Di Bartolomeo as Annemette, Michelle Visage as Tante Hansa, Mazz Murray as Queen Charlotte, Jay McGuiness as Iker and Natalie Kassanga as Malvina, with further casting to be announced.
The concert production will be directed by Kristopher Russell, with choreography by Dean Lee, associate choreographer Elena Russell, orchestrations & musical production by Jeff Nang, lighting design by Joshie Harriette and casting direction by Peter Noden.
SEA WITCH has music & lyrics by Segun Fawole, with a book by Michael David Glover. Created by Kristopher Russell and Michael David Glover, based on SEA WITCH by Sarah Henning and adapted with permission of HarperCollins Publishers.
SEA WITCH will play Theatre Royal Drury Lane, on Sunday 1st March 2026 – 3pm & 7.30pm, with tickets on sale now.
