⭐ RUMOUR – WICKED UK TOUR SET FOR 2023 ⭐
The beloved West End smash-hit musical Wicked will head out on tour next year, it has been rumoured.
The musical, which recently celebrated 16 years in the West End, is reportedly set to tour the UK in 2023/24.
This will be the first time Wicked has toured in nearly 4 years, with the last UK tour concluding in 2019.
Based on the multi-million copy best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked imagines a beguiling backstory and future possibilities to the lives of L. Frank Baum’s beloved characters from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and reveals the decisions and events that shape the destinies of two unlikely university friends on their journey to becoming Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
Wicked has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the show is based on Gregory Maguire’s novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West and is adapted for the stage by Winnie Holzman.
