⭐ RUMOUR – MONTY PYTHON’S SPAMALOT – WEST END REVIVAL PLANNED ⭐
A West End revival of the award-winning musical Monty Python’s SPAMALOT is reportedly being planned, it has been rumoured.
There are reportedly plans to bring the most recent Broadway revival to the West End, with the hope by the end of this year.
The musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the film classic, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, has everything that makes a great knight at the theatre, from flying cows to killer rabbits, British royalty to French taunters, dancing girls, rubbery shrubbery, and of course, the Lady of the Lake.
SPAMALOT features well-known song titles such as “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life”, “The Song That Goes Like This”, “Find Your Grail” and more that have become beloved classics in the musical theatre canon.
The original Broadway production was nominated for 14 Tony Awards and won three, including Best Musical.
SPAMALOT has a book & lyrics by Eric Idle, with music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle.
I would love to get a chance to see this show, fingers crossed this comes to fruition! ! !
