⭐ RUMOUR – JOANNE CLIFTON SET TO LEAD LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS UK TOUR ⭐
Joanne Clifton is reportedly set to play the iconic role of Audrey in upcoming UK tour of Little Shop of Horrors, it is rumoured.
Clifton’s recent credits include Janet in the Rocky Horror (UK Tour), Alex Owens in Flashdance (UK Tour) and Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie (UK Tour).
No official confirmation as of yet but Selladoor will reportedly be taking their critically-acclaimed production of Little Shop of Horrors back out for a new UK tour.
With music and lyrics by the legendary writing duo, Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, best known for their numerous Disney film scores, Little Shop of Horrors is a cult film and one of the longest running off-Broadway shows of all time.
The tour was reportedly supposed to be heading out as soon as May 2021 but obviously due to the ongoing situation with the pandemic, that won’t be the case.
I hope this tour is still on the cards, Joanne Clifton is a wonderful performer, I loved her in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Rocky Horror. I look forward to hopefully seeing her as Audrey, in the not-so-distant future! ! !
