⭐ RUMOUR – INTO THE WOODS REVIVAL – WEST END TRANSFER PLANNED ⭐
The critically-acclaimed revival of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into The Woods is reportedly heading to the West End, it has been rumoured.
The musical will reportedly transfer to London’s West End early next year.
This imaginative and delightfully playful new production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Into the Woods arrives as a timely celebration of the late composer’s remarkable impact on musical theatre.
A dark and humorous twist on the Brothers Grimm fairy tales. The Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical interweaves everyone’s favourite storybook characters into a timeless, yet relevant, piece. Featuring the much loved songs “Children Will Listen”, “Stay With Me” and “No One Is Alone”.
Presented by Scenario Two and Theatre Royal Bath Productions, this eagerly anticipated production of Into The Woods brings together a world-class, multi award-winning creative team including iconic stage and film director Terry Gilliam, co-director and choreographer Leah Hausman, designer Jon Bausor, costume designer Antony McDonald, video designer Will Duke, sound designer Adam Fisher, and casting director David Grindrod.
Into the Woods has music & lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine.
Into The Woods is currently playing the Theatre Royal Bath until 10th September 2022.
