⭐ RUMOUR – HADESTOWN – WEST END TRANSFER PLANNED ⭐
The Tony Award-winning musical Hadestown will reportedly transfer to the West End, it has been rumoured.
Producers have reportedly been touring West End theatres, with the aim of securing a theatre, to open in the West End next year.
Hadestown previously made its London debut at the National Theatre’s Olivier Theatre back in 2018, prior to opening on Broadway.
Hadestown intertwines two mythic tales — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone — as it invites you on an unforgettable journey to the underworld and back.
This acclaimed musical by singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin is winner of 8 Tony Awards including Best Musical and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
