DISNEY’S NEWSIES is reportedly planning a West End transfer and a UK tour, it has been rumoured.
The award-winning musical is currently rumoured to be looking for a West End venue, ahead of a planned UK tour.
Currently playing the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, it ends its acclaimed run on 30th July 2023.
NEWSIES is directed & choreographed by Olivier Award-winning Matt Cole, with set design by Morgan Large, musical supervision, dance arrangements & musical direction by Nigel Lilley, costumes by Natalie Pryce, lighting by Mark Henderson, sound by Tony Gayle, performer flying by John Maddox for Suspended Illusions Ltd, casting by Lucy Casson, children’s casting by Jo Hawes, fight directors Rachel Bown-Williams & Ruth Cooper-Brown for RC Annie, associate choreographer Jane McMurtrie, associate musical director Chris Ma and production management by Lee Batty and Andy Fox for Setting Line.
NEWSIES is based on the 1992 motion picture and inspired by a true story, featuring a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman, with a book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein.
