⭐ RUMOUR – DISNEY’S ALADDIN – FILMED PERFORMANCE COMING TO DISNEY+ – SPRING 2021 ⭐
The filmed performance of the West End production of Disney’s Aladdin will reportedly be coming to Disney+ by the end of Spring 2021, it is now rumoured.
The filmed performance was first rumoured to be coming to Disney+ by the end of 2020 but unfortunately that failed to materialise and Disney have even yet to officially announce it but according to The Disinsider, it is now expected to be released on Disney+ by April 2021.
The cast for the filmed performance will feature Ainsley Melham (Aladdin), Trevor Dion Nicholas (Genie) Isabelle McCalla (Jasmine), Jonathan Freeman (Jafar, also voiced Jafar in the original animated film), Don Darryl Rivera (Iago), Irvine Iqbal (Sultan), Brian Gonzales (Babkak), Brandon O’Neil (Kassim) and Robert Tripolino (Omar).
Also Robertina Bonano & Sadie-Jean Shirley (Attendants), Tarisha Rommick (Fortune-Teller), Dann Kharsa (Razoul), and Tarik Frimpong (Prince Abdullah).
The ensemble members include Angeline Bell, Robertina Bonano, Paje Campbell, Lauren Chia, Bianca Cordice, Reece Darlington-Delaire, Kade Ferraiolo, Tarik Frimpong, Patrick John, Antony Hewitt, Abigail Johnson, Dann Kharsa, Victoria Layzell, Ethan Le Phong, Richard Murphy, Ian Oswald, Alex Pinder, Tarisha Rommick, Kyle Seeley, Sadie-Jean Shirley, Dominic Sibanda, Kayleigh Thadani, Justin Thomas and Damien Winchester.
Disney’s Aladdin is based on the 1992 animated film of the same name with a book by Chad Beguelin, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin.
An official announcement with more details is expected very soon, if the rumour is true.
