⭐ RUMOUR – ALANIS MORISSETTE’S JAGGED LITTLE PILL – THE MUSICAL WEST END TRANSFER PLANS ⭐
Plans for a West End transfer of the award-winning Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill – The Musical, are rumoured to be happening.
Producers have reportedly looked at various West End venues in the hope of securing an available theatre to transfer the production, with plans of opening in 2022. Apparently no final decisions have been made.
Inspired by Alanis Morissette’s 1995 five-time Grammy Award winning album Jagged Little Pill, this new musical tells the story of a multi-generation, multiracial suburban family grappling with a series of distressing events.
Tony Award winning Director Diane Paulus (Waitress) weaves the songs of Morissette and Glen Ballard’s 1995 album (plus new material) into a dramatic and heartfelt contemporary story with a book by Oscar winner Diablo Cody (Juno).
I really hope they’re able to find a theatre, we all know until that happens, a transfer is not a sure thing. Fingers crossed! ! !
