This award-winning musical Ride is now available to stream on Broadway On Demand, it has been announced.
It’s 1895 and Annie Londonderry has returned victorious to America, hailed as the first woman ever to cycle around the world. She’s pioneering, she’s plucky, and she’s pitching her story to the newspapers. But as she approaches rough terrain, can Annie regain her footing, or will she have to confront the past she left behind?
An award-winning new musical, filmed at London’s Charing Cross Theatre, Ride stars Offie Award winners Liv Andrusier (Lead Performance In A Musical – Ride) as Annie Londonderry and Yuki Sutton (Supporting Performance In A Musical – Ride) as Martha.
Ride is directed by Sarah Meadows, features design by Amy Jane Cook, with movement direction/choreography by Natasha Harrison, musical direction by Sam Young, orchestrator Macy Schmidt, lighting design by Jamie Platt, sound design by Andy Johnson and assistant direction by Olivia Munk.
Ride was also nominated for the Best Musical Theatre Book Writing in the 2022 Writers Guild Awards. An earlier try-out was named VAULT Festival Show of the Week and won an Off West End OFFCOM Award. The title song was nominated for the 2020 Stiles and Drewe Best New Song Prize.
