RepresentAsian – An Evening of Asian Talent has been announced for the Phoenix Arts Club.
In the third instalment of the RepresentAsian Series, Benjamin Armstrong is delighted to be hosting another showcase of Asian performers, including West End actors, recent graduates and more!
Come and join in celebrating the excellence and talents of the Asian Community within the theatre industry, whose ur voices have been side-lined and under-represented for too long.
Featuring musical direction by Amy Hsu, come and celebrate some of the finest Asian talent London has to offer, with the cast including Desmonda Cathabel, El Haq Latief, Elaine Hua Jones, Emma Konop, Eva Chokarian, James Lim, Mariam Hussein and Rithvik Andugula.
Armstrong commented: “The purpose of this concert is to give a platform to an under-represented demographic in our industry. This community is the one that I identify with and want to give more opportunities for fellow artists like me to showcase their ability, with no fear of prejudice or having to “conform”. A night when we can be our authentic selves and share our identities.”
RepresentAsian – An Evening of Asian Talent will play at the Phoenix Arts Club, on Monday 20th February 2022 – 7:30pm, with tickets on sale now.
