Rafe Spall will star in the iconic role of Atticus Finch in the highly anticipated new production of To Kill A Mockingbird, it has been announced.
Originally meant to open in May 2020, Aaron Sorkin’s stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird will transfer to the West End, playing at the Gielgud Theatre, with performances now set to begin from 10th March 2022.
Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, published in 1960, explores racial injustice in America and features one of the most iconic characters in literary history – small-town lawyer Atticus Finch.Directed by Bartlett Sher (The King and I).
