⭐ PRIVATE PEACEFUL WEST END TRANSFER ANNOUNCED ⭐

The Barn Theatre’s acclaimed reimagining of Michael Morpurgo’s classic WWI tale – Private Peaceful – will transfer to the West End, it has been announced.

It will play a two-week run at the Garrick Theatre from 7th November, marking it as the first new West End play since lockdown.

Based on the modern classic by Michael Morpurgo (War Horse), Private Peaceful tells the story of Tommo Peaceful as he reflects upon the events that made him the person he is now, from first love to fighting on the battlefield alongside his brother.

Private Peaceful will star Emily Costello & James Demaine and will feature sound design by Harry Smith, lighting design by Sam Rowcliffe-Tanner and be directed by Alexander Knott with Zöe Grain as associate director and movement director.

Private Peaceful is a co-production by BoxLess Theatre, Barn Theatre and Take Two Theatricals, with associate producer Thomas Hopkins.
